Children should be introduced to wooden
puzzlesat a very early age. This is because wooden puzzles help children put together all of the various skills that they have learned watching other people do different things. Until this time, however, they haven’t attempted to solve a problem or use the hand-eye coordination that they have been slowly developing since birth.
Wooden puzzles from School Teachers are available in all different varieties for any teaching situation, either home school or in day care. The simplest puzzle contains three or four basic shapes and they increase in complexity from there. The most complex use such shapes as fish, numbers, cars, etc. All of them are brightly colored to attract the youngster’s attention and many of them include knobs so that little hands can pick the pieces up easily.
Wooden puzzles are a favorite among parents but they are also extremely popular with those teaching in day care and kindergarten classrooms. They are very durable and, because they are always painted with non-toxic paint, they can be used around very young children who have a habit of putting things in their mouths.
